A week not for the weak

Well, here we go! This week my amazing band and I head off on our biggest adventure yet: four very large shows in some extremely fun venues around Québec and Ontario. As a band that has existed for just over a year, we've already started making friends in lots of different places, which is really the key to success. Today we're off to Bicolline, which is North America's biggest medieval festival; tomorrow and the next day we play the massive Irish Pub tent in Sherbrooke's world-renowned Festival des Traditions du Monde; and then on Sunday we're headlining the Russell Fair in Ontario, which promises to be a banger of a party!

I'm so proud of this band and the work each member has put in over the past year; we've played dozens of shows, practiced like crazy, learned an astronomical amount of material, and come together as friends and musicians in a way that outstripped even my greatest hopes. We're deep into the recording of our first album, we're planning a couple of small tours for next summer, and the future is very very bright....
