The first post

Funny thing about writing a blog post: you're opening a window into your world so people can see in. Much like a social media share, I guess this is the way you tell people, 'I'm here, come have a look at my life!' The difference, I hope, is that in this blog forum I'll be able to avoid some of the toxicity that comes along with social media. For me, this is a snappy way to share news about the band and my involvement in it; a little bit about my life; and some thoughts about being a Celtic musician in Canada these days.

So here we go!
